All deaths which occur in the Northern Territory must be registered with the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages. As part of the funeral arrangements, our funeral arrangers assist with this process. Information required to register a death include:

  • Full name of the deceased
  • Date and place of death
  • Date of birth
  • Address
  • Occupation
  • Marriage particulars
  • Children’s names and dates of birth
  • Full names of both parents, including mother’s maiden name
